A rack setup is a chain of parts: the vehicle and its roof attachment, a base rack or platform, and the carrier or cargo accessory. A fit kit or adapter may connect one part of that chain, but its name alone does not confirm that the complete setup fits your vehicle.

Choose the guide for your setup

Check each connection separately

Start with the exact vehicle and roof configuration. Confirm the base rack or platform for that vehicle, then confirm how the accessory mounts to that base. A vehicle-specific fit kit is not the same part as a carrier adapter, and neither proves that a particular accessory is approved for the complete system.

Use the matching manufacturer fit guide and current instructions for the relevant market. Check product numbers, included and separately sold parts, interface dimensions where the instructions require them, clearance, and every applicable load limit. If a product page or fit tool leaves the combination uncertain, ask the manufacturer or an authorized fitter before ordering or installing hardware.
