Front Runner Slimline II Platform Fit and Mounting
Slimline II is a modular slat platform, but the platform deck and vehicle mounting kit are separate fit questions. Confirm the exact kit, vehicle roof or mounting surface, market, and accessory profile. A general Slimline II description does not establish that a particular kit fits a vehicle or specify a complete system load limit.
Choose the correct mount family
Front Runner’s product family describes mounting options that include foot rails, grab-on mounts, load-bed systems, gutter mounts, and track installations. Select the route for the actual roof or bed hardware and follow the vehicle-specific guide. Do not choose a kit by tray size alone: required rails, track lengths, feet, brackets, and installation can differ.

The UK KRGF009T product page describes a named Slimline II kit for compatible existing OEM flush rails, with installation without drilling and a removable rack. It is also described as a light-duty factory-rail kit with a maximum load of 50 kg. That figure belongs to that stated UK kit and must not be transferred to another Slimline II mount or vehicle.
A separate UK listing for KRCA094T describes a canopy or trailer kit using supplied tracks and multiple feet. Its page does not state a load rating. Do not borrow the 50 kg factory-rail figure for this canopy route. In every market, verify the exact vehicle, roof or canopy, and current fitting instructions before installation.
Check the published driving-speed limit
Both Dometic UK listings for KRGF009T and KRCA094T state a maximum driving speed of 130 km/h (80 mph) for a vehicle equipped with a Front Runner roof-rack or load-bar kit. Treat this as the maker’s stated ceiling for these named products; follow any lower vehicle-specific or applicable legal limit and check the current fitting guidance.

Match the accessory to the slat or perimeter profile
Slimline II uses a slat-based deck and product-specific accessory channels. Check where the accessory is intended to attach, which fasteners it needs, and whether the channel runs through the position you plan to use. Confirm support spacing, overhang, access to bolts, and room for neighboring gear.
Front Runner’s RRAC169 information identifies the Slimline II side profile as 50 mm and describes an M8 accessory rail for that quick-release awning mount. This is an interface statement for the named RRAC169 and Slimline II; it does not establish vehicle fit, a load limit, or compatibility with another maker’s platform. Front Runner’s RRAC031 information describes possible placement on the Slimline II side, front, or rear profile where the accessory channel runs. It does not provide an accessory load rating.

Use the current product instructions for the selected accessory and rack revision. Do not substitute bolts or channel nuts based only on matching thread labels or an apparent fit. If the accessory maker does not identify the mounting position or hardware, ask for the exact combination.
Find the applicable load guidance
Front Runner’s general Slimline II load guidance does not provide a numerical rack rating. It directs owners to the vehicle maker’s roof-load guidance and driving conditions. Use the exact vehicle instructions and the rating for the particular mount kit. Include the rack system and attached equipment where the vehicle defines roof load that way.
For the cited KRGF009T kit, keep the stated 50 kg limit attached to that product route. For KRCA094T, do not infer a limit from the factory-rail kit or from another brand’s platform. When a required vehicle or mount rating is not available, ask the manufacturer before loading. Also check for clearance, roof glass restrictions, hatch operation, total height, and the accessory’s own support and securement rules.
Use the platform interface checklist to measure the deck and accessory hardware, and the guide to vehicle mounts, rails, legs, and backbones to document the full attachment path.
