BROWSE BY GEAR

Choose a documented rack path for a pickup bed, cap or topper, van roof, or work setup. Start with the exact mount location, vehicle configuration, and hardware that carries the load.

Truck, Van & Utility Racks

Pickup beds, caps and toppers, hard tonneau covers, and van roofs use different attachment structures. A rack that looks similar may rely on different rails, tracks, legs, brackets, or reinforcement. Begin with the surface that actually supports the rack, then confirm that the complete system fits the vehicle and body configuration.

Choose a starting point

Identify the mount before choosing a rack

Record the vehicle year, make, model, market, body, cab, bed length or wheelbase, roof height, and installed equipment. Then identify whether the rack attaches to a pickup bed rail, factory bed track, cap or topper, tonneau-cover track, van gutter, factory mounting point, or another documented structure. A vehicle selector or product family can narrow the search, but a general “fits most” description does not confirm a particular vehicle and attachment.

Check the complete setup

A usable fitment is a parts path: vehicle and body configuration, supporting structure, vehicle-specific brackets or kit, rack legs or towers, bars or platform, and the accessory being carried. Confirm that every part is intended to work with the parts before and after it. Check cab and roof clearance, cover operation, door access, rack height, bar spread, load distribution, and the dimensions of the item being carried.

Do not treat a rack’s product maximum as the vehicle’s carrying allowance. Compare the limits for the vehicle, bed or roof, cap or cover, mounting hardware, rack, and accessory. Use the lowest applicable limit and follow the manufacturer’s definition of what the figure includes. Static, on-road, and off-road ratings describe different conditions. If a document does not say whether rack weight is included, do not guess.

Installation and load security

Use the current fitting instructions for the exact vehicle and product combination. Do not drill a cap, alter a bed or cover, bridge moving body sections, or substitute similar-looking parts unless the vehicle, rack, and structure instructions support that installation. Ask a qualified fitter when the attachment, structure, or drilling path is unclear.

Secure cargo using the method required for the selected rack, accessory, load, and market. Recheck the load and mounting hardware at the intervals in the current instructions. A stop, strap, or accessory can help position or restrain cargo, but it does not increase the vehicle or rack limit.
